Q-Squared, Inc. was incorporated in July of 1995 with a mission of assisting businesses with the development and implementation of practical and effective management systems. The business was founded upon five guiding principles that are as valid today as were then. They are as follows:

Ken Willis, the company’s founder, president and principle consultant brought to the company years of experience from both the public and private sectors where he worked as a plant manager, process engineer, training program manager and compliance expert. The company provided a much needed service as businesses sought to become certified to ISO 9000 based quality systems. Services were created and delivered with the sole purpose of giving clients the greatest return on their investment.
As management system requirements have evolved, Q-Squared, Inc. has developed new and innovative methods for helping its clients. Each solution is tailored to suit the unique needs of clients and the industries they serve, whether they be automotive, aerospace, plastics, process equipment, metal fabrications, electronics, medical equipment, food processing, or subcontract service providers.
More recently Q-Squared, Inc. has spent much of its time on ways to improve existing management systems through the development and implementation more effective management tools. Also, Q-Squared, Inc. is supporting some of its clients by providing internal audit services and, if applicable, support for achieving self-declared compliance to ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 requirements. This can result in adding value to the service, while producing significant cost reductions for the client.
In its second decade of existence, Q-Squared, Inc. continues to rely heavily on the referrals of its many satisfied customers to generate new business. The company welcomes the challenges of integrating management system compliance with sound practices to create effective and successful business solutions.
